Taking Your Pet To The Vet During The Coronavirus Crisis

Tuesday, August 18, 2020
posted by Jim Murphy

The thought of walking into a crowded vets office with loud barking dogs and people waiting could be very unnerving during this pandemic. Personally, I was due to take my cat Atlantis to the vet this month. I decided to postpone his appointment and quite frankly, I don’t know why. He’s due to go next month and our situation will surely be the same. In unusual situations like this, fear takes over as it has with me.

Here’s the good news. I found out that our vet has a pretty good system in place. An appointment is set up, you stay in your car and the vet assistant comes out, talks with you and  then take the pet inside for his visit.  You stay in your car and after your pets visit, the vet takes your pet back out to you and goes over the results of any tests and discusses  treatment options and prescribes medications.

This is clearly a much safer approach. Please if you are nervous about taking your pet to the vet, check their procedures during the pandemic and if you’re not comfortable, possibly seek another vet.

Remember, your pets count!

Consider adding Astro’s Oil products to your cats regimen if he is suffering from Kidney disease. You’ll be glad you make this choice. Astros Oil.com.
