Cats with kidney disease usually experience severe weight loss. It doesn’t matter how much the cat eats, the weight just keeps coming off. This was the case with my cat Mollie who passed away from kidney disease in 2018. My newest friend, Atlantis was diagnosed with kidney disease and hyperthyroidism in January.
