My cats run to the bathroom every time they gear me turn on the shower or flush the toilet. Cats love cold, running water and my cats race to get to the source first. There is a true story about a cat who would drink the water out of the toilet then, flush the toilet. The owner heard the toilet flushing . This cat was mesmerised by the toilet flush, and somehow discovered for herself how to operate the lever. Apparently, this cat figured out that if the level was pressed, fresh cold water would flow into the bowl so she now flushes the toilet herself every time she wants a drink of cold water. It a cute trick but I wouldn’t want to receive the water bill!
