Teaching your dog to follow commands is extremely important. Dogs need to be able to react to commands to keep them safe and sound. Here are a few quick tips to help with training.

1. Try to find out what your dog is good at. If he likes to jump or fetch, try to incorporate that into his training.
2. Teach your dog basic obedience first. Don’t try anything too complicated. Keep it as simple as possible.
3. Find a good, healthy treat that your dog enjoys.
4. Make the training sessions fairly short. Five to ten minutes should be fine. You can do a lot of repetitions is a short amount of time.
5. Don’t work on only one trick. Mix it up and do four to eight tricks at once.
6. Keep the training fun. Don’t make it a chore. May sure that both you and your dog enjoy it.
