More Attention for Older Cats

Wednesday, July 27, 2022
posted by Jim Murphy

Our cat Millie isĀ  seventeen and a half years old. Although she can still jump and run, she has slowed down. She seems to sleep more, eat less and need more attention. She doesn’t want her little routine broken. Millie now likes to spend most of her time with us in the family room. She has taken over the chair that I usually sit in so we have a schedule. Millie takes over this chair most of the day. She also expects to be fed a certain times, have snacks at certain times and be brushed at certain times. I guess she’s kind of like me as I get older.

Luckily, we are home most of the time so we have this time to spend quality time with our Millie.

If your senior cat needs more attention, make sure you give it to him after all he provided you with a lifetime of love.
