Cats have routines and if that routine is broken, they become a little “out of sorts.” We have a guest staying with us for a few weeks and she is sleeping in the bedroom where Millie normally takes her daytime nap. Since that room is occupied. Millie is walking around a bit confused even though there are lots of other comfortable places where she can sleep.

Our Millie is 17 years old and has a specific routine that she sticks to all the time. She eats a certain times, has snacks at a certain time, get brushed the same time everyday and snuggles with me at a certain time each evening. If any of those routines are not followed she will wonder around and meow until she finally accepts the fact that some things have changed for awhile.

We always want to keep our feline friends happy so notice your cats routine and do your best not to mix anything up!
