If you’re thinking of adopting a Beagle, there are some things that you need to know. These dogs are playful can live a pretty long life. Their average life span is about 14 years. Beagles are easy to care for and are known for their loud bark and howl.  If you have grandchildren, Beagles are a great choice. They are energetic and love to play. The usual beagle reaches a maximum weight around 30 pounds.  Beagles make great companions and love attention. So a Beagle would be a great choice for senors and family’s with children. They have a great disposition but must be trained properly.

Before making any choice for adoption, make sure you do your homework and both you and your new best friend will enjoy a very happy life together.
