Did you know that cats will only “meow” to humans not other animals? There are various reasons for a cat’s “Meow.” It could be to tell their owner that it’s time to eat, time to get up, time to play or just to get some attention. We recently adopted a Himalayan/Siamese cat from a neighbor who can no longer care for him. Siamese cats are noted for their beauty and their very vocal personalities. Our cat will meow when he’s hungry but most of the time, he meow’s because he just wants to be stoked and loved. We always react and give him the attention that he craves. We also enjoy his little conversations with us. He adds personality to our household.  His vocal expression has now become part of our daily routine and we truly enjoy it!

It you adopt a Siamese cat, don’t get upset when he summons you! He just wants to be loved and be part of your family!
