I always say that if you are going to change cat food brands, do it very slowly. Add a little of the new food to the regular food everyday. Your cat’s digestive system is sensitive and a sudden switch could cause diarrhea or even vomiting.

I like to give my cats several different types of food. I use two brands and and include both wet and dry food. I use Purina Pro plus and Weruva for the wet food and the high grade Purina dry food along with some Fancy Feast, only because my cats seem to prefer the Fancy Feast although it’s not the best quality. As with human food, foods that taste good aren’t necessarily good for you. I also add Greenie treats at the end of the day.

I believe some variety is good for your cat but when adding a new brand, always do it slowly.
