Happy New Year From The Pet Product Guru!

As 2017 comes to a close, I would like to wish all of our committed readers a very happy, healthy new year! Our pets are part of our family and I strive to provide helpful stories and tips on how to care for our beloved friends. This year has been a good and not so good year for my cat Molly, as her age and kidney disease advances, caring for her becomes progressively more difficult. I’m so thankful that she is still with us this year and that she is still drinking, eating and taking her medication although I spend much more time coaxing her to eat and take her medication. Part of this is my fault as I tend to spoil her and cater to all of her whims. If she doesn’t eat, I will offer many different things to entice her like, tuna, cheese, fresh turkey etc.  Molly has also had several emergency room visits for excessive vomiting and dehydration. Just this morning I woke up to her gagging and vomiting in the hallway. This really breaks my heart as I feel helpless. She since as bounced back has eaten and is now sitting on my lap as I write this.

I will continue to do my best to keep my little friend around as long as I can and as long as she maintains a decent quality of life.In 2018, I’ll take one day at a time and keep you informed all the way.

So enjoy you new year and continue to love, appreciate and provide the best for your pets in 2018.

Happy New Year!
