Right now, as I’m typing this blog, my cat Molly is sitting right beside me purring and enjoying the peace and quiet. I’m feeling calm and secure with my little friend next to me. Cats have a way of creating a peaceful, serene environment. They are low key and enjoy a warm place to snuggle. Throughout the years, my two little friends have provided me with lots of comfort. They were there during my ups and downs and have seen me at my worst yet they still always have the ability to help me relax. It could be their soothing purr or the fact that they take my mind off of the nonsense and focus on more simple, peaceful thoughts.  Dogs are wonderful, loyal companions but they don’t provide the peace and serenity of  a cat. If you’re a cat owner, you know what I mean. Enjoy the calm!
