I’m giving my cat Molly a prescription medication for her hyperthyroid condition. Two weeks ago, I went to renew her prescription and was told that Molly has no prescription renewals left. They wanted to see her before renewing the prescription. I told them that this medicine if vital to her well being and she needs to have it. Anyone who knows me, knows that I would never leave it at that that. They weren’t getting away with not renewing Molly’s prescription because they wanted me to schedule an appointment and make another $350! I needed the her meds now and I was going to get them. I ranted and raved and let everyone in the waiting room hear me. They finally agreed to renew her prescription if I agreed to take her in for blood tests within the next couple of months. I agreed and will take Molly in but don’t want her poked and prodded at this point.   Sometimes we need to do what we need to do for the benefit of our pets!
