Cats run on a schedule. My cats seem to know when they should eat, when they sleep, when they get their cat treats, when they play with their cat toys, when they go out on the porch, when they should be brushed etc.

You should establish a fixed time that you feed your cats. Make sure that the schedule is realistic or your cat won’t be pleased when dinner time comes and you’re not yet home from work. You may find him sitting at his cat bowl patiently waiting for his delicious cat of cat food!

It’s a good idea to feed your cat his final meal of the day after you have some bonding time with him. Pet him, brush him or play with some of his cat toys. You don’t want you cat to look to you only as a primary food source but also a friend and companion.
