Many times, I’ve talked about some of the quirky habits of cats. They seem to have their own internal clock and also associate particular places with their actions. My cat Millie must wake  me up at a certain time everyday. When we are at our place in Edgewater, NJ, she will meow at 5:30 am and jump up on the bed. When at our home in Delaware, she will jump on the nightstand and scratch at the blinds. Molly will knock over whatever is on my nightstand and make lots of noise to wake me up. She does this precisely at 3:15am every morning. I get up, and give her her favorite  cat food. Molly will also sit by the refrigerator waiting for me to open the door and give her a tasty cat treat. The funny thing is that she does this only when we are at our home in Delaware but doesn’t do it in New Jersey. Our furry friends are extremely precise in getting what they want!
