The Worlds Oldest Cat
Indoor cats usually live an average of 12 – 16 years but outdoor cats have a much shorter life span. Outdoor cats except for Corduroy that is .Corduroy is now the world’s oldest cat at 26 years old. His owner is Ashley Reed Okura adopted Corduroy at seven weeks old in 1989. She said that she let him be a cat by allowing him to hunt and giving him plenty of love. Corduroy enjoys eating sharp cheddar cheese and mice. What a combination! Ashley allows Corduroy to roam her ranch freely where he gets plenty of exercise.
Corduroy claimed the title after previous record holder, Tiffany Two, passed away. Tiffany Two lived to be 27 years, two months and 20 days.
