I will always stress the fact that you should always pay attention to your feline friends. Take note of any change in their behavior or physical appearance. Our cat Millie developed what appeared to be an abscess on her jaw. We are taking her to a new vet in Georgetown, Delaware who thought it may originate from her teeth. Her appointment is set for December 1oth but in the meantime, the vet  prescribed antibiotics. The sore has been bleeding periodically but now it seems to be under control and healing well.

Even though the antibiotics are working and Millie’s sore is improving by the day, she will still go to her appointment on Dec. 10th. It’s important for her to be examined by this new vet and if her teeth are causing the problem, they need to be attended to.

Keep your pets healthy and have them check regularly by you vet!
