A Heartwarming Pet Rescue Story to Read During the Holidays
The Huffington Post has published a heartwarming story of the rescue of a senior dog. It is a wonderful story especially around the holidays when there are so many homeless pets stuck in shelters not knowing their fate. Click here and view the video which I’ve posted:
Before his rescue, this poor dog had been living at a water treatment plant in Los Angeles. He was alone, sick and was surrounded by very dangerous chemicals. Fortunately a man by tbe name of Eldad Hagar, the founder of the animal rescue organization Hope for Paws, learned of the dogs plight from an employee at the facility and quickly rushed to the dog’s aid.
When Hagar and some others got to the scene the dog was frightened and very reluctant to get near any of the rescuers. There was danger that he could fall into one of the pools that were close by if he decided to run from rescuers. He was eventually rescued and was treated for parasites and an ear infection. The dog was given the name Mufasa. Mufasa, whom a veterinarian estimated is between 8 and 10 years old is now alive and well and living with a foster family. They are looking for a forever home. Lets hope he finds one soon!
Thanks to the Huffington Post for providing this heartwarming story and video!
