This has less impact on his joints. When you’re taking your dog for long walks or runs, consider his fitness level. Build up his endurance over time. Take it slow at first and wall or run short distances gradually increasing the speed and distance as your dog gets used to this activity. Consider where you take your dog. Avoid gravel or asphalt. Always take along plenty of water and look for signs of fatigue.
