Older Cats and Mental Confusion
Just like humans, an older cat may experience some mental confusion or cognitive disfunction. As a result, she may meow a bit more or pause when going to her cat food dish. Right now, my at Millie is sitting on the chair meowing. In this case, I think she wants attention. Older cats sometimes cry at night for no apparent reason. A night light sometimes can help if a cat becomes disoriented at night. If you see that your older cat is crying more at night or experiencing some form of confusion, take her to the vet as soon as you can. He may be able to prescribe some form of pet medication to easy these symptoms.

Bringing Home A Second Dog
Are you thinking of getting a second dog? There are several important considerations that you’re probably aware of, but size is rarely one of them. A large breed dog and a small breed dog can happily live together as long as your larger dog is not too rough when he plays. More important than size is the sex of the two pets. If you have a male dog, look for a female as a second dog and vice versa. Two females sometimes don’t get along well and two males may get into it over pack position. Opposite sex dogs are most likely to get along well. The most important thing to remember is that your first dog is very well socialized and well behaved before you introduce a second dog into your household. If he’s anxious, or barks a lot, he could easily teach your second dog the same bad habits. Remember, you may want to buy separate supplies for your new friend, like water and food bowls, dog beds, crates etc. Oh don’t forget to get you new dog a beautiful, trendy dog collar!
