To Board Or Not To Board

CAT SITTERCats are creatures that like the comforts of home. Unlike dogs, they rather be in their safe sanctuary than be taken along on a trip. I travel back and forth to Delaware and most of the time, I take my cats. This is because I started doing this when they were very young and I never left them alone. They are still not too fond of the car but for the most part, they travel well. Most cats won’t. If you’re planning a trip, the best option that I can recommend is to find someone who will stay with your cats in your house . Even though you’re not there, they will be in a familiar environment surrounded by familiar scents and they will be  on their  own turf.  A relative or close friend is best   Ifthis doesn’t work, start interviewing professional sitters who are licensed and bonded and belong to a national organization such as Pet Sitters International or the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. If you choose a pet resort, look for the same credentials and it’s always best to have someone recommend one to you.

Remember, your pets count!
