It could be a lot of fun snapping pictures of your pet but getting that really great shot can be difficult.  To take a good photo of your pet, you’ll need to get her full attention. An assistant can help especially if he has a tasty cat or dog treat for your pet.  Try to press the shudder when your pet is alert and still.  A fast moving pet can cause a blurry photo. When it comes to daylight, shooting outside in soft daylight is the best choice.  If you do decide to work indoors, beware of “red eye.”  One way to avoid it is to disable the flash and take the photo in a bright room.  Your pictures will also look better if the pictures contrast with your pets coat.   For instance, a dark cat against a light background will make a more dramatic image.
