A new law recently went into affect banning pets from restaurants in Delaware. Now is this a good or bad thing? First of all in today’s society, we love our pets and treat them like family. Pets go along almost everywhere with us. I can understand that if everyone brought there dogs in a restaurant, chaos would occur. Service dogs are an exception to the rule. Banning our furry friends from outside dining with their family may be another story. Many restaurants used to  allow pets in outside areas but that will now not be allowed in Delaware. This may not sit well with many residents. It’s great to be able to take your dog out with you and stop and have a bite to eat without having to leave him in an unsafe car.

I think that pets should be allowed if restaurants offer outside dining provided that they are well trained and get stay calm while in a crowded area. There can be a designated seating area where our furry friends may be welcome . After all would like to leave your child or baby at home? What do you think?
